This download is for Apple silicon Macs (M1 or later), running macOS 15 Sequoia or later. This preview does not include an Intel build.
How do I install it?+
Download and unzip the file, then drag Foliolet into your Applications folder. Open it from there. This preview is not notarized by Apple, so macOS may require you to approve its first launch in System Settings → Privacy & Security. Only approve the app if you trust this download. Do I need an account?+
No. Open the app and start writing. Documents and session recovery are stored locally on your Mac.
Can I use my existing Markdown files?+
Yes. Open your existing .md or .markdown files. Foliolet edits ordinary Markdown, so your files can still be opened in other editors.
What can I export?+
Export your document to PDF, HTML, or Word (.docx). The original stays in Markdown, ready for your next edit.
